thanks xSpots!!! eeerrrr how do i get rid???.....?
3 times a week, i steam my face with boiling water. Just fill a big bowl with boiling water, then place your head over the bowl for 10 minutes. Put a towel over yourself and the bowl so that no heat can escape, and no cold air get get to you. Also every night and day i use the Clearasil pads on my face.

Both these things produce great results.

- hope i helped :) xxSpots!!! eeerrrr how do i get rid???.....?
If your spots are somewhat itchy, and as they heal you get a dry patch and sometimes a scar after, you've got Rosacea

It's a pain in the face, I know, I have it too.

I've tried every remedy written about and the only two things that have helped are:

Cetaphil lotion combined with Desitin zinc cream. I blend about a tablespoon of the Desitin with half a cup of the lotion and use it as a barrier cream under make-up. I also use it at night as a moisturizing/rosacea treatment. It really helps reduce inflamation and can stop a breakout in it's tracks.

The other treatment is actually a cure, but it's pricey. Intermittent pulse laser and V beam laser combined treatments will reduce redness and shut down the excess vasculature that's the source of the break outs.

The breaking news on Rosacea is that it's caused by an over production of a certain kind of protein. They don't know how to stop the over production yet, so we're stuck with lasers.

My treatments aren't totally done yet, 3 down one to go. I'm thrilled with the effect so far though. I'm down to wearing a little face powder, no more foundation/cover up/spackle ;)

Also, the laser has taken a good 5 or more years off my face, stray hair growth and all the sun damage from my tanning days. It cost about $2000, which was hard to swallow at first, but I'm SO glad I finally did it.

Email me if you want to chat more about this.
