any were that's really bony. over the spine is the worst though. i got one on the back of my neck and i nearly passed out when they did it. but that is a really cute spot(i think).Where is the most painful spot to get a tattoo?
i always thought anywhere along a bone is the most painful (ie foot) but when i got both sides of my ribcage done, the tattoo artist asked me a bunch of times if i was sure because it was supposed to be the most painful (lots of nerve endings throughout the ribcage/intercostals?)
Personally, i didnt think it was bad at all, however he said usually big burly guys are practically put to tears. Who knows. tattoo pain varies between people...
my friend got a tattoo on her toes and foot, she said it hurt REALLY bad. umm also your shin or knee that would hurt.if you want the tattoo to hurt think of a place that doesn't have much fat for ex. the thigh or the upper arm wouldn't hurt that much but the foot or hand would.
for me, it was the spine.
but my boyfriend tells me the ribcage is excrutiating. that when they were at the base of his ribcage, it felt like the needle was in his armpit.
i think it defers for everyone depending on your bones, and your body.
Top of my foot hurt the worst! It is so little but the pain was for at least 5 days after. It was not that bad during but days later....Oh yeah that baby hurt!
Sides of neck or underneath the upper arm would be the most painful places on me.
Between your Belly Button and your hip, or on your hipbone.
i have 4 and i think out of all of mine the ones on my hips hurt the worst!
