Where is the best spot for a guy to get tattooed?

I've never had a tattoo. I'm only 16. But I'm thinking about getting one before I go to college.


I guess I should say that I'm a Christian, and I made this tattoo design that is a combination of a cross, the ';alpha'; symbol and the ';omega'; symbol.


I was just wondering where guys usually get tattooed. My cousin got one on his wrist. Is that normal? I'm just not sure where I should get it. Respectful suggestions are appreciated.Where is the best spot for a guy to get tattooed?

another one of my friends who is 16 got his last name in a very badass font across his back.


and i also knew this 18 year old guy who had one love written across the back of his arm.





so age really doesn't matter at this point, and sure you can get a tattoo practically anywhere. the most common places i would have to say would be the upper arm and the back, from all the tattoos i've seen. i also think the back of a shoulder would be nice. and your cousin getting one on his wrist sounds completely fine.





and contrary to what that person said, i find tattoos extremely attractive and i know plenty of other females who do too .

Depends how visible you want it to be. For max visibility go for the forearm, If you wanna be able to hide it with a longer t-shirt then go for the bicep. The shoulder blade is also a popular choice if you only want people to see it when you have your shirt off. At the end of toe day though, its your body and there are lots of different people, with lots of different tattoos, in lots of different places, so get it wherever YOU want it to go.

most guys get it on their arms or upper body or legs, even though...i have no idea what those symbols are if its something small i think right on the bottom back of your neck would be a good place to still have it but also conceal it when you need to cus it would be hidden by your tshirt or w.e. um if its a bit bigger i'd say the outer part of your upper arm or on the inside of your arm in that half way space between your wrist and elbow bend area
Personally, I dislike tattoos and know that a lot of women don't like them.





If you want to consider marking your body for life, have a good reason for doing it. It should mean something, rather than just being trendy.





Know that if it is on your wrist, you may have to cover it later since a lot of jobs make you cover tattoos.

the back of the calf doesnt look that cool, go with getting one on your left or right bicept
Arm never goes out of style of course, but if you're a dude that has his shirt off all the time I would put it on your ribs or the middle of your back, those are way sexier. However, when a guy has a tattoo sticking out of his shirt sleeve a little, I always ask to see it :)

Your arm is the most common place for a guy to get a tattoo.


I personally prefer them, however, on the chest/pecks or the back :]
