What on the spot acne teatment do you reccomend?

Hi I am a 13 year old boy and have some pimples on my forehead and near my hair and blackheads on my nose. What product do you recommend?

Also if you can try and look on cvs.com and find an on the spot treatment and tell me it.

Also,my friend has really clear skin and he has a tube with light blue and white on it. It says salicylic acid acne treatment too. What do you think this is?

Thanks for all the help! What on the spot acne teatment do you reccomend?
Neutrogena On the Spot Treatment works very well. If you have combination skin, in which you get oily and dry skin in different spots on your face.....make sure to use a light oil-free moisturizer along with the acne treatment.

Just wash your face at least twice a day, especially before bed time. Use the light oil-free moisturizer (Neutrogena has oil-free moisturizer too) to keep your face smooth, then put the acne treatment on your trouble spots right after. The acne treatment will work on treating your face while you sleep. This should help keep you face looking good all the way around.

By the way, it's definitely OK for guys to use moisturizers and treatment on their face. My boyfriend uses Biore' strips to take the blackheads off his nose. So you can use the Biore' strips to take the blackheads off too. No shame in it! Start trying these methods and your face should begin looking good as long as you keep on doing it!What on the spot acne teatment do you reccomend?
Hey. I'm your age, and i have the same problems sometimes. I use M.D. Skincare products, including M.D. All Over Blemish Solution for Blackheads, and M.D. Correct and Perfect Spot Treatment for the bumpy. The product your friend may use is Proactive, but be careful, I used it and it makes your face worse in some cases. Good Luck!
salicylic acid is good for acne skin.

i recommend paula's choice - BHA %26amp; blemish fighting solution.

any product that has BHA is good in fighting acne and reduce acne scars.
Clearasil Vanishing acne cream
Tea Tree from Superdrug (UK) works for me.
Tea Tree oil:) works good,
Proactiv.

Salicylic acid is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) which is great when used as part of a treatment system. It shouldn't be your only acne treatment. I don't know what your skin care regime consists of, but if you don't have Benzoyl Peroxide, I'd recommend getting some. You can get a face wash that's 5 percent, which is stronger than the wash in Pro-Activ, and it's very easy to get from a Dermatologist or even your Primary Care Doctor. For spot treatment, you can get a tube of Benzoyl Peroxide that is 10 percent, and use it as spot treatment. Be careful around your hair, though, because Benzoyl Peroxide bleaches hair and fabrics. The action of B.P. is bacteria killing. It not only treats acne, but it prevents it from coming back. It's a maintenance type treatment. Something to be used regularly in wash form, and you can use it for spot treatment in the tube form.

Also, you said you have blackheads, which ARE a form of acne, but they're basically pores clogged with dirt, sebum, and bacteria... Benzoyl Peroxide should help somewhat, but I'd also recommend using something with exfoliating abilities. Blackhead clearing scrubs are great for that. Or you can mix some sugar in with your face wash. Not in the bottle, but when you're going to wash your face, sprinkle some into the palm of your hand with the cleanser.

One last thing... Nearly ALL acne treatments contain either Benzoyl Peroxide in some form OR... Much more commonly, Salicylic Acid. So honestly, the brand really doesn't matter. It's what percentage of what medication that matters.
