I have this same problem! I use the self-tanner ';spray'; that is like water. Spray it into a cotton ball or pad, and wipe it onto your face, careful to blend into ears and on down onto the neck area. I use the store brand generic and it works just fine. Use it at night before bedtime and you can see how it looks in the morning.
