my girl friend is telling me that if i razor shave over my thining spot on my head even less hair will grow back then there was. she said it could hurt the hair follical. is this true or am i safe to shave it? i'm already clipper buzzed. Will hair grow back if i razor shave over a thining spot on the top of my head?
It would be best to have your doctor answer that question for you before you do anything!
You won't hurt the hair follicle. You would end up with what you have now, or you could have less, but that would be because your hair is starting to thin. This happens to many men after they graduate from high school. It also comes from your families history of hair thinning or baldness. Will hair grow back if i razor shave over a thining spot on the top of my head?
No, if anything it will cause it to grow faster.
It won't hurt your hair.
If you're worried about it thinning, shave the whole thing.
It might actually be good for your hair. (If you decide to grow it back out)
shaving does not affect the hair follicle. at all. now male pattern baldness.... that will mess up a hair follicle
