absolutely! benzoyl peroxide is extremely drying and sensitizing! that brown spot is your skins response to damage, it is making the pigment for protection.
luckily you are young enough that it may go away on its own but you have to be really careful with your skin. that includes wearing a Physical SPF (white in color, lower SPF, with zinc ant titanium dioxide) especially if you are on any hormonal birth control.
that can make you more photo sensitive.
also go get a teen facial, they can give you a good home care regiment and help keep your face clear and strong!
good luckCan teenagers get sun spots?
Everyone and anyone can get sun spots. But even if you were to get it, you can always go to a pharmacy or drug-store to purchase lotions or anti-fungal solution to remove it. The sun spot should go away after you use the lotions with the directions that are given.
Yeah I'm 15 and I spent pretty much all day outside because I am a swimmer. And at the end of the summer, I had about 2 small sun spots on my face and one on my hip bone.
So yeah, just use sunscreen to prevent them
Anyone can basically get sun spots if not using sunscreen on a daily basis.
